Your UW medical insurance
Your UW medical plan offers mental health services as well as substance abuse coverage. If you aren’t sure exactly what your plan covers, review the certificate of coverage (also called the benefits booklet) for your medical plan. Find your certificate of coverage using the Washington state Health Care Authority website.
Hall Health services
All faculty and staff have access to Hall Health Center, the on-campus medical clinic. The clinic provides mental health services including: individual and couples counseling and therapy, crisis counseling and intervention, medication evaluation and management, group therapy and support groups, campus outreach services, mindfulness meditation, and after-hours care. Spiritual care at UW Medicine
Need spiritual care to help you manage stress with a faith-based approach? UW Medicine’s chaplains are trained to serve the spiritual needs of our diverse community. The Department of Spiritual Care at Harborview Medical Center and UW Medical Center offers culturally sensitive emotional and spiritual support to staff, regardless of religious, faith, or spiritual tradition.
